Welcome to the Bluegrass Music Society
of the Central Coast (BMSCC)
Promoting bluegrass, oldtime, traditional and gospel music on the Central Coast of California
BMSCC promotes and preserves bluegrass, old-time, traditional and gospel music for Central Coast enthusiasts by organizing and conducting programs, producing events, and networking with kindred individuals and organizations.
BMSCC supports local and regional bands, music-related professionals, and acoustic-music-friendly venues. BMSCC sponsors jams and events including the Parkfield Bluegrass Festival.
We formed BMSCC in 2006 to share and foster appreciation for the fabled "high lonesome sound." Musicians (both beginners and experienced), listeners, and anyone interested in becoming involved or supporting this great organization is welcome to join.
BMSCC is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit, public benefit corporation -- donations to BMSCC are tax-deductible as allowed by tax laws.
